From September 2013, schools will be held to account over how they spend their additional, ring-fenced funding. Ofsted will strengthen the coverage of PE and sport within the ‘Inspectors’ handbook’ and supporting guidance so that both schools and inspectors know how sport and PE will be assessed in future as part of the school’s overall provision.
Details of how we spend our Sport Premium can be found below and in the attached files.
Sports Funding – 2019- 2020 – end of year provision / evaluation
In September 2019 the Government allocated funding directly to primary schools to support the provision of high quality P.E/sport. Ribbon Academy received £20,230.
The allocation of the Sports Premium money, is outlined in the documents below
The 2019-2020 cohort of Year 6’s were unable to attend swimming lessons for a term due to school closure. This meant these set of children were unable to build on their swimming skills from Year 5. At the end of the swimming lessons from Year 5, 65% of children were able to swim the expected 25 metres unaided.
